Meet Michael Vettoretto
Michael’s Italian heritage and appreciation for hard work and the value of family, have made him who he is today. A man of conviction who, when he says he’s going to do something, it gets done.
Michael’s father Ferruccio emigrated to Australia from Italy to cut sugar cane in 1955. He married and settled in Ingham, North Queensland and worked hard to instilled the same strong values in his children.
Michael is the eldest of three children and hard work and sportsmanship were a huge part of his upbringing.Whether it was helping with the harvest or playing for the local cricket or football teams, Michael worked hard and played hard, with a competitive spirit and always aiming to push himself further to achieve success.
Michael joined the real estate industry in Townsville in 1989 and has been a passionate advocate of the auction process almost from the beginning of his career. He has honed his negotiating skills and closed many challenging sales, that few less experienced agents would have been able to do.
In the past 30 years Michael has lived and worked in real estate in North Queensland, New Zealand, Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. He is married to Kelli who is also a fully licensed real estate agent and this year they celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.
Michael has also always supported various local and national charities and willingly donates his time to conduct fundraising auctions.
